Polar Pipes New Straw Technology Taught Me Proper Straw Use After All These Years

Have you seen these amazing straws? They're made of metal, yes me-tal. They are a full 3/8" in circumference--that's nearly 1/2"!--- and you thought McDonald's straws were big.

I figured the straw technologists had run out of creative straw ideas years ago---boy was I wrong. These straws, known as Polar Pipes,  make cold drinks colder, hot drinks hotter, and delicious drinks deliciouser. When you shake your cup full of icy bev, the Polar Pipe makes an angelic tinkling sound like no other.  And if all that wasn't enough, yesterday the Polar Pipe taught me that I'd been using straws incorrectly my entire life. Apparently, if you  put your upper lip just barely on the outer edge before sucking, you don't need to engage your teeth in the straw experience at all. I'd been placing the straw in my mouth like a cigarette, which forces you to use your teeth to get leverage---which of course leads to unpleasantly chewed straws. I'd like to publicly thank the genius straw developers out there who ignored all the naysayers and developed this amazing piece of machinery.
